Adaptive Scorecard Metrics Reports
AMC is proud to announce the release of its first report in the Adaptive Scorecard Metrics Report Series: The Open Enterprise Software Template: An Analytic Hierarchy Framework for Measuring Aspects of Organizational Adaptive Functioning.
Information about the report and other components of the Report Bundle is available here.
The balanced scorecard is the most widely used system of Business Performance measurement (BPM). From its beginning however, the framework underlying it has been a bit sketchy in its development of the learning and growth perspective, and still more generally in categories directly related to decision processing and adaptive capacity. AMC research in the area of adaptive metrics is aimed at filling out the adaptive aspect of the balanced scorecard and, creating, in its place, an adaptive scorecard.
An adaptive scorecard is one that includes a comprehensive set of adaptive metrics within a revised balanced scorecard framework, and additional metrics that illuminate the characteristic patterns of decision processing in organizations. We refer to these adaptive metrics as adaptive scorecard metrics because of their context within a revised balanced scorecard.
AMC's reports on adaptive scorecard metrics will use the following categories of measures:
operational
performance
